The Devil's Details

For 5 out of the past 7 summers I've volunteered for the National Park Service in the Apostle Islands based out of Bayfield, Wisconsin. Devil's Island is clearly among the most strikingly beautiful attractions of the area. It is also remote and difficult to reach except in the best of weather.
